$36,000 Oh My!

Yes, as I swallow the big lump in my throat...$36,000 is what this little miracle is gonna cost us. Is it worth it? You bet ya, EVERY PENNY. Where will it come from? Heaven's Bank & Trust! Seriously, some of our friends have asked how they might contribute. First and foremost is simply PRAYER. We believe God is in this and He has a special plan. We are praying for the future birthmother and the baby she will be carrying. We pray for her and the baby's health and sense of God's presence. It's FINALLY on it's way!!

We finally got all 96 pictures of us, our family and our home, two birthmother letters, a question & answer page and 3 paragraphs about us to send on a disk to Adoption Network Law Center! One of the pics we're sending is attached. It takes them about 3 weeks to assemble our profiles on their 3 websites. Sooo, we hope to be "online" by August 19th. Please pray for Lily, mommy & daddy

Lily was taken to Christus Shumpert Sullens Children's Hospital in Shreveport yesterday (Friday) due to an elevated level in white blood count. Doctors think it is due to a possible infection from her belly button area and/or more jaundice. Please pray for her healing and for Jeannie to get some rest. She has had very little sleep since the baby was born. Thanks everyone! ~Donnis

Welcome Lily Ann Weaver!

Here she is, isn't she beautiful?! Abby saw her in the nursery right after birth and asked, "Where's huh dipuh?"

Here we go....

Well, been wanting to start this-here-blogging-thing for a long time, but while the boys are vacationing with family, I've found the ability to get this rig started! We plan to keep this updated so that all of our dear friends can keep up with our craziness....we sure can't!!! In all seriousness, we have begun a new journey with the second adoption agency and are very hopeful! We'll get that link to you when our adoption profile is up and running.
